Parisa Jahanfekrian is an IFBB Pro athlete competing in the Women’s Physique & Women’s Bodybuilding division, famously recognized for transitioning into professional bodybuilding after making history as Iran’s first female Olympic weightlifter. Born in April 1995, she originally competed internationally for Iran in the 87kg weightlifting category. Following systemic conflicts with sports authorities in her home country, she relocated to Berlin, Germany, where she pivoted her athletic career to bodybuilding and currently works as an online fitness and nutrition coach.

Competition History

1. Women’s Physique Bodybuilding (IFBB Pro / NPC)
Parisa transitioned into bodybuilding and quickly rose through the NPC Worldwide ranks, ultimately earning her IFBB Pro Card at the end of 2025.
  • 2025 NPC Worldwide Dennis James Classic Germany: 1st Place (Overall Winner & Earned IFBB Pro Card)
  • 2025 NPC Worldwide Olympia Amateur Italy Regional & Pro Qualifier: 1st Place
  • 2025 NPC Worldwide Weider Classic: 1st Place 

2. Olympic Weightlifting (87kg Class)

Before entering the physique stage, she was a pioneer for Iranian female strength sports. 
  • 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games: Documented as the first Iranian woman to secure an Olympic quota spot in weightlifting. She was awarded the replacement slot in July 2021 after Samoa withdrew; however, injury complications and sports federation suspensions ultimately barred her from physically competing on the platform in Tokyo.   • 2019 IWF World Weightlifting Championships (Pattaya, Thailand): 6th Place. She stood as one of the first four Iranian women to ever represent the country at an International Weightlifting Federation world event.
