December, 12th 2025 A Historic Night at the 2025 NPC National Championships
The Women’s Bodybuilding division at the 2025 NPC National Championships delivered one of the most competitive and high-level showdowns seen on a national stage this year.
In the Heavyweight division, Kelli Larkins secured 1st place and earned her IFBB Pro Card, officially joining the professional ranks. Her victory did not come easy. She was pushed hard throughout the show by an outstanding Kaitlyn Vera, who brought an exceptional physique and made every comparison count. Kaitlyn proved she is clearly next in line for a pro card, delivering one of her strongest packages to date.

In the light-heavyweight division Taylor Smuck dominated the class, with an absolutely impeccable physique,

The night culminated in the Women’s Bodybuilding Overall, where Taylor Smuck emerged as the Overall Champion and earned her IFBB Pro Card. The final posedown between Taylor Smuck and Kelli Larkins was a tremendous battle, showcasing two elite physiques at their peak and highlighting just how thin the margin was at the very top.
This event set a high bar for Women’s Bodybuilding, this is what we want to see on a pro qualifier stage, a full stacked lineup full of emerging talent and yesterday in Texas these amazing athletes delivered the show we love to see.
Congratulations to Taylor Smuck on the Overall title, to Kelli Larkins on her Heavyweight win and pro status, and to all the athletes who brought championship-level physiques to the national stage.
