Mindy Muylaert

Mindy Muylaert is a Canadian IFBB Pro Figure competitor, fitness lifestyle model, and healthcare worker who famously achieved professional status later in life. Known for her elite symmetry and presentation, she earned her IFBB Pro Card at age 46 after a decade of elite amateur training.

Mindy Muylaert began her serious fitness journey slightly later than most competitors. A mother of two and a professional healthcare worker, she initially joined the gym simply to shed baby weight. After seeing a candid beach photo of herself, she made a strict 4-week commitment to weight training and nutrition.

A gym regular noticed her impressive genetics and work ethic, asking if she was preparing for a bodybuilding show. Encouraged by her husband, Mindy entered her first regional show just shy of her 40th birthday. Despite placing 16th in her debut, she became hooked on the sport and went on to win her second contest outright. She has since built a brand around age-defying consistency, navigating menopause while maintaining an IFBB Pro-level physique, and has been named to the Inside Fitness Top 100 Hot & Fit list in Canada across multiple years.

Mindy rose through the amateur ranks via the Canadian Physique Alliance (CPA) and NPC Worldwide circuits, steadily improving her placings until capturing professional status in late 2023.
