This addition represents a major win for women’s bodybuilding during a season that has unfortunately seen several WBB shows canceled worldwide. At a time when opportunities have been reduced, it is refreshing—and important—to see promoters who still genuinely believe in the Women’s Bodybuilding division and are willing to invest in its future.
Once again, Brazil is proving itself as a global leader in the growth of women’s bodybuilding. In 2026 alone, the country has seen an explosion in athlete participation, not only dominating the Wellness division but also showing massive growth in Women’s Physique and now pushing forward Women’s Bodybuilding at the professional level.
Brazil continues to produce world-class athletes, with competitors such as Leyvina Barros, Alcione Barreto, and Barbara Moojen representing the very best of the division and setting the standard on the international stage.
